Hollywood Set to Sizzle: 11th Annual Salsa Fest Takes Over ArtsPark

The rhythmic heart of South Florida beats for Hollywood this weekend as the 11th Annual Hollywood Salsa Fest returns to the ArtsPark at Young Circle on Saturday, April 11, 2026.

The free, 11-hour marathon of music and dance is expected to draw thousands of enthusiasts to the city’s downtown core for what has become one of the premier Latin cultural celebrations in the region.

A Star-Studded Lineup

This year’s festival is headlined and hosted by the "La Muñeca de la Salsa," Melina Almodóvar. Joining her on stage is a heavy-hitting roster of talent, including:

  • Moncho Rivera: The Puerto Rican sensation will perform a special tribute to the legacy of the legendary Ismael Rivera.
  • Chino Núñez: The Grammy-winning producer and percussionist brings his world-class ensemble to the ArtsPark stage.

In a nod to the community, the Hollywood Hills Spartan Latin Band will showcase the next generation of salsa stars.

Starting at 2:00 PM and running until 11:00 PM, the event transforms the 10-acre circular park into an open-air ballroom. Beyond the live orchestras, attendees can expect curated DJ sets, choreographed dance performances, and a wide array of local food vendors and pop-up bars.

"This isn't just a concert; it’s a community celebration," says event organizers. "From professional dancers to families with lawn chairs, everyone comes together for the love of the rhythm."

Know Before You Go

While admission is free for all ages, city officials are reminding attendees of a few key rules to ensure a smooth experience:

  • Seating: Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
  • Prohibited Items: Outside coolers and beverages are strictly prohibited, as refreshments will be sold on-site to support the event.
  • Parking: High attendance is expected. The city recommends using the Van Buren or Radius parking garages or arriving via rideshare.

The festivities kick off tomorrow afternoon at 1 North Young Circle. For those looking to beat the heat, the music continues well into the night under the stars.
