A West Palm Beach police officer has been fired for lying to Internal Affairs.
That's according to an IA report that states Kevin Harrell associated with a convicted felon and a known associate of drug traffickers.
The report also claims that the former officer released a police sergeant's home address to a friend. Harrell was also found to have provided information to a woman about police officers he had issues with. That woman posted videos on YouTube that were intended to destroy confidence in the agency within the community.
Police Chief Frank Adderley says it caused a big disruption in the department, adversely affecting morale. He says that Harrell denied wrongdoing during a disciplinary hearing.
He was terminated March 29th.
