However, which states are the most prone to UFO sightings? Telecommunications company SatelliteInternet.com put together a bunch of data from the National UFO Reporting Center to find out... and here are the results.
The Top 5 States For UFO Sightings:

- Montana
- Vermont
- Alaska
- Maine
Washington has the highest number of sightings by far with an an estimated 5,894 through June 2019. Let's assume aliens are dropping by Earth. They appear to be very fond of wide-open spaces and beautiful landscapes, like Montana and Vermont.
The Top 5 States With The Least Number Of UFO Sightings:
- Texas
- Louisiana
- Georgia
- Mississippi
- Alabama
So, it seems the aliens aren't interested in visiting the southern states.
