Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic Glaze
6 Servings
Here is what you need:
1 ½ pounds Brussels Sprouts
4 ounces of pancetta, diced into 1.4 inch cubes*
1 to 2 TBS balsamic glaze
¼ cup olive oil
Kosher salt
fresh cracked black pepper
*I bought diced pancetta at Doris Italian Market.
Here is what you need to do:
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
Cut the tough stem off the sprouts and peel off the outer layer of leaves then slice them in half, lengthwise.
Put the sprouts on a rimmed sheet pan and sprinkle the pancetta over it.
Pour the olive oil over everything, season with salt and pepper and give it a good toss.
Roast in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes. Will depend on the size of the sprouts. When they are cooked to your liking remove from oven and toss with the Balsamic glaze. Taste for seasoning and serve right away.
