Sally's Recipe Of The Week: Spiced Oven Bake Chicken Thighs

Spiced Oven Baked Chicken Thighs

Serves 4-6

Here is what you need:

8 bone in skin on chicken thighs

2 tsp Italian seasoning

2 tsp kosher salt

2 tsp onion powder

2 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp fresh ground black pepper

olive oil

Here’s what you need to do:

Preheat your oven to 400.Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil.

In a small bowl mix together the Italian seasoning, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika and pepper. Set aside.

Take the chicken thighs and trim any excess fat, not all of it just the big chunks.Pat the thighs dry with a paper towel. Put the chicken on the baking sheet skin and rub some olive oil on both sides.

Evenly sprinkle your spice mixture on both sides of the chicken, leaving it skin side up.Slide it into your oven and bake for 35 to 45 minutes.The bigger the thighs, the longer it takes.
