Volunteer of the Week - Bianca Papa

Bianca Papa, a senior at Dwyer High School, is using her love of running to raise money for a cause that is very dear to her.

For the past two years, Bianca has created and organized a community race to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She takes responsibility for everything that goes into planning and running this event, including permits, parking, volunteers, awards and food.

While organizing this major charity race, Bianca has maintained her status as a phenomenal student and athlete.

Way to go Bianca Papa - we’re proud of you!

If you have a spare hour or two, why not volunteer in a Palm Beach County public school? Volunteers come from all age groups, economic backgrounds, and educational levels. Simply go to a neighborhood school or contact the School District’s Volunteer Coordinator at (561) 738-2780. Help a student and school. It's a great way to support our communities and our world.
