It's nice to see some true emotions being expressed. Philadelphia Phillies rookie Brock Stassi has had a long road to the Major Leagues. He was often told he wasn't good enough, that he'd never be able to hit major league pitching...but he never gave up on himself. He eventually got drafted by the Phillies in the 33rd round of the 2011 draft. He's been struggling in the minor leagues since, until recently when he was told to make a few mechanical changes. The changes worked, and at the age of 27...which is considered old for a baseball rookie, he finally made it to the Phillies. Stassi got all choked up and actually cried when speaking to reporters. But what a great lesson for the kids in perseverance! Watch the emotional video below!
