A 94 year old World War II vet got QUITE the gift for his recent birthday, and it was in the form of a lottery scratch-off. As a gift from his daughter-in-law, he received a Double Bonus Cashword ticket...and found out his gift was worth...$300,000! The man, Ervin Smolinski of Michigan, always buys lotto tickets for family members on their birthdays, and now the favor was returned! He said he didn't get too excited about it at first...he kept checking and re-checking to make sure it was real. What is he going to do with the money? He plans to invest, buy a new shed, and buy a newer used car! He says he has always been frugal, has always shopped for sales, and will continue to do so! Happy Birthday, Ervin, and thank you for your service to our country!
