This is a great story from right here in our own backyard. High school years can be very awkward. Oftentimes students wind up eating lunch alone if they don't really know anyone. Until now. A group of students at Boca Raton Community HS formed a group called "We Dine Together", and it's made up of kids who care enough to walk around the school grounds and make sure everyone has a friend to eat lunch with. They introduce themselves and get to know the individual students.
It was started by Denis Estimon, who had nobody to hang out with when he came to the United States from Haiti. He says he doesn't want anyone else to go through that. He's hoping to extend this idea to other high schools as well. Great job, Denis...the world needs more caring and awesome kids like you
