Wrong Way Driver Struck By Train In West Palm Beach

New information in an overnight accident involving a train.  

West Palm Beach Police say a man was driving the wrong way as he went around the railroad crossing arms at the Florida East Coast Railway tracks on Forest Hill Boulevard at about 2:15 Friday morning. That's when the vehicle was struck by a train.  

The man was found by rescue crews alive and outside of his car, suffering from severe head trauma.  He was taken to the hospital where his condition is unknown.
