Ronald Reagan "Back To Life" In Hologram At Presidential Library

Former President Ronald Reagan has returned as a hologram to his presidential library in Simi Valley, California.

Some may find it creepy, others will find it cool, either way this first-of-its-kind 3D hologram of a U.S. President brings Reagan back to life in three different depictions.  In one he's giving a speech, another he's on the ranch and a third has the former president in the oval office.

Library staff received help from Hollywood special effects artists.

Watching the hologram reminded me of an iconic scene from "Back to the Future Part II."

Or how about this scene from the first "Back to the Future?'  When Marty McFly first arrives in the 1950's and finds Doc Brown's house, the scientist doesn't believe him and asks Marty, "Tell me, future boy, who's President of the United States in 1985?" Marty answers "Ronald Reagan," to which Doc Brown responds "Ronald Reagan?? Who's Vice President, Jerry Lewis?"

The Reagan hologram is being unveiled Thursday at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum.
