How Your Lunch Helps Keep Parents Close By Sick Kids

Note: Above is interview from March, 2017.

Have a sub, help keep sick kids and their families together.

Again this year, Quantum House in West Palm Beach benefits locally from Jersey Mike's Day of Giving.

100 percent of the money you spend Wednesday at any Jersey Mike's Subs in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast will go toward providing a place to stay for familes in town with a child who is receiving treatment for a serious medical condition.

Last year, Quantum House CEO Robi Jurney told us this allows the family members to stay close to their young patient.

"When the most precious thing in your life, which is your child, is in a compromised situation, you want to be right next to that child.  If that child is in a hospital bed or that child is receiving medical care, you want to be right there and you want to stay together."

The hospitality house on 45th Street features 30 guest suites, two kitchens, play rooms and mini golf in the backyard.
