The Palm Beach County School District has come up with three make-up days for teaching time lost due to Hurricane Irma, but first the school board must sign off on them.
The days, which are currently on the schedule as "professional development days" for teachers, are Monday, October 16, Friday, November 3 and Monday, January 8.
The district will present them to the board on Wednesday for approval.
Palm Beach County students missed seven school days. Two of those days were already waived by Florida Education Commissioner Pam Stewart. She will be asked to waive two more.
