School Grades: 4 PBC Schools Got F's, More Than 70 A's

posted by Joel Malkin -

The Florida Department of Education is out with its letter grades for schools around the state and more than 70 in Palm Beach County got A's during the last school year.

There are a few schools that improved year-over-year from a C to an A.  Those are Gardens School of Technology of Arts, Renaissance Charter School at Palms West and Franklin Academy Charter School in Palm Beach Gardens.

Four schools received F grades, while some schools improved from F grades in the 2015-2016 school year, including Washington Elementary Magnet School in Riviera Beach, which is up to a B.  Grove Park Elementary in Palm Beach Gardens and Glades Academy in Pahokee each improved to a C year over year.
