First Time, Only 1 Florida City Included in Top 10 Best Places to Live

Only one Florida city - Sarasota - remains in the U-S News & World Report's top ten Best Places to Live rankings at #9... the same as last year.

Naples has slipped from 7 to 12. Melbourne and Jacksonville both fell two sports to 20 and 24.

This is according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2022-2023 Best Places to Live report:

4. Boulder, CO

5. San Jose, CA

6. Raleigh & Durham, NC

7. Fayetteville, AR

8. Portland, ME

9. Sarasota, FL

10. San Francisco, CA

U.S. News concluded that the 2022-2023 Best Places to Live is based on metrics that factored in the job market, value, quality of life, desirability and net migration ratings. They used a public survey of thousands of people in the U.S. to find out what qualities they consider important in a place to live
