The world has lost another icon. Ronnie Spector, lead singer of the Ronettes passed away at age 78 after a short battle with cancer.
Ronnie saw a resurgence on the chart in the late eighties when she teamed with Eddie Money for his hit “Take Me Home Tonight,” which sampled “Be My Baby.”
