Badass Bump Is The New Trend For Delray St Patrick's Day Parade

Despite all the festivals and events that have already been cancelled or rescheduled from Coronavirus fears, the City of Delray Beach is not changing their plans.

The annual Delray Beach St. Patrick's Day Festival & Parade is still scheduled to go down this Saturday on Atlantic Ave. However, parade organizers have a new plan to stop the spread of germs on-site.

Rather than shaking hands, hugging, fist bumping, or bumping elbows; they have gone a complete other direction and are calling it the "Badass Bump".

The badass bump involves locking your hands in front of your body and then bumping butts with anyone that you meet. The organizers hope that this will cut down on contact between festival attendees, parade viewers, and St. Patrick Day race runners.

What do you think about the badass bump? Will it catch on? We'll have to wait and see!

Check out the video below to learn how to do it properly so you too are St. Patty's Day prepared!
