Ok if you're going to do a big grand gesture proposal thing, you gotta remember to actually hold on to the ring or else things get really awkward very quickly.
There's no quicker way to look uncool than to be ready to propose and losing track of where the ring is. I know this dude's soul just fell out of his body when he realized that he couldn't find that ring because A: he looks stupid in a moment that's supposed to be smooth and suave, and B: these rings are not cheap.
Luckily for him after about 30 minutes of looking for it, he ended up finding the ring and the woman still agreed to marry him.
