Lightning Rally To Overtime Win Over Penguins

The Tampa Bay Lightning (10-6-1) to a 3-2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins (7-10-4) in overtime on Tuesday night in Pittsburgh.

The Lightning fell behind 2-0 as Pittsburgh got goals in the first and the second period. The Lightning rallied with goals from Brayden Point and Anthony Cireli in the third, before Point scored again in overtime to lift the Lightning to two points in the come-from-behind effort.

Point had missed the previous four games with a lower-body injury, but made an immediate impact in his return. Andrei Vasilevskiy went 17-of-19 in net in the winning effort.

The Lightning now head to Columbus where they will play the Blue Jackets on Thursday night. Puck drop from Columbus is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Thursday night.
