The mayor of Lake Worth Beach is getting a second term. After Tuesday's runoff election, Betty Resch defeated former City Commissioner Andy Amoroso by a 61 to 39 percent margin.
Voters in Wellington settled two races for the Village Council.
In Seat 1, Amanda Silvestri beat out former Mayor Bob Margolis in a close race, with the runoff decided by just over 3 and a half percent of the vote.
Maria Antuna won the race for Seat 4 over Shelly Lariz Albright by about the same amount.
There were also two races for the Pahokee City Commission.
In Group 1, Everette McPherson defeats Monique Gordon and in Group 2, Sanquetta Cowan-Williams wins, over incumbent Sara Perez.
