Lady Gaga Accidentally Left Oscars Wearing $30M Necklace To Get Taco Bell

Hot off the release of her new album, Chromatica, Lady Gaga is making the rounds to promote the dance-filled LP and the superstar shared a funny revelation about how she wrapped up the 2019 Oscars.

During her appearance on The Graham Norton Show on Friday (May 29), the pop titan recalled the part of the evening, where she left the ceremony wearing the $30 million Tiffany & Co. necklace, but forgot to tell anyone. Fun fact: The jewelry that Gaga wore that night is the same piece that was worn by Audrey Hepburn for her 1961 press photo for Breakfast at Tiffanys. "I already thought I had too much security before I put that diamond on," the chart-topper told the host. "And then I put that diamond on and I was like, ‘Am I the president?'"

Gaga, who won the Oscar for Best Original Song for "Shallow" off A Star Is Born, said she didn't know what was going to happen that evening, but she was certainly happy to be there. After the big win, she ended up leaving with the famed piece of jewelry and forget to tell the reps from the brand. "Tiffany’s started freaking out. They were like, 'She's gone! She left with the diamond!' I actually went to go hang out with Madonna at her manager’s house. And I got to the house and I was just chilling with Madonna while all these security guards were side-eyeing me from every corner of the room."

"Every time I hugged someone, they would get a little closer to make sure it was still on," she explained. "And then I left and I really wanted to go to Taco Bell. All of a sudden the car got pulled over by Tiffany’s security and it was very politely removed from my neck."
