Vero Beach High School Football Team May Set Record For Home Wins

Go Indians!

VERO BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — The last time Vero Beach High School lost a regular season game at home was in 2013. 60 regular season home games later, head coach Lenny Jankowski is on the verge of making history. "We've had many games that could go either way," said coach. While home field advantage proves to be a fighting force for the Fighting Indians, Jankowski says he makes sure the players don't think about it. Senior players like Evian Irving respect that. "You tend to over hype things and overthink them," he said. "You can’t play right." The Fighting Indians will face Fort Pierce Central Friday night, a match up that is known to be a rivalry. You can follow along with the CBS12 sports team for any updates.
