Gingers Prince Harry, Ed Sheeran Drop Comedic World Mental Health Day PSA

Prince Harry and Ed Sheeran teamed up for a PSA to advocate for World Mental Health Day and the two stars made sure to toss some humor into the mix.

As teased earlier in the week, the gingers united for the clip, which was posted on the Instagram account for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and it sees the stars attempt to remove the stigma around the subject. The almost two-minute clip begins with the pop chart-topper, 28, getting his beard trimmed and informing viewers that the royal, 35, reached out to him to see if he wanted to partake in the project. "I've long admired him from afar, so I guess I'll see you there," he says, before heading to Prince Harry's house for the sit-down chat.

While at a table, the two interject a bit of comedy into the clip as they both attempt to discuss mental health, but it doesn't seem like Sheeran received the memo, mixing up the project's agenda with what it means for gingers to unite. "People don't understand what it's like for people like us with the jokes and snide comments. I just feel like it's time we stood up and said, 'We're not going to take this anymore. We are ginger and we are going to fight,'" he says. After getting on the same page, the two deliver the most important message of the PSA.

"Guys, this World Mental Health Day, reach out and make sure your friends, strangers, look out for anybody who might be suffering in silence," Prince Harry tells viewers. "We're all in this together."

Over in the caption section for the clip, the message was stressed once again with a list of several organizations, which prioritize mental health above all. "Both Prince Harry and Ed Sheeran want to ensure that not just today but every day, you look after yourself, your friends and those around you," the caption read. "There’s no need to suffer in silence - share how you’re feeling, ask how someone is doing and listen for the answer. Be willing to ask for help when you need it and know that we are all in this together."
