See What Neil Armstrong Saw Looking Out The Window Of The Lunar Module

Check out the view that Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin had from the Lunar Module as they landed on the Moon. You'll see the original footage from the window of the Lunar Module on the left at 6 frames-per-second, and a recreation of that terrain on the right, thanks to new digitized images provided by NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera (LROC), We can now simulate the descent in a smooth video. The module touched down on the lunar surface on July 20, 1969 at 4:18pm.
