Sally's Recipe Of The Week: Baked BBQ Chicken Legs


Baked BBQ Chicken Legs

Serves 4

Here is what you will need:

2 pounds chicken legs

1 cup organic ketchup

1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon paprika

Kosher salt and pepper

Pat of butter

splash of chicken broth

Hot sauce if desired

Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and preheat oven to 375.

Mix together organic ketchup, packed dark brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce,

garlic and paprika.

I removed the skin off my legs, leave it on if you want. Then place on lined baking sheet and season both sides with salt and pepper.

Place the BBQ mixture in a pan and cook it down a bit. Taste and season accordingly. Add in the butter and stock if necessary. Let the sauce cool. Pour half over the chicken and reserve the rest for serving. Bake chicken for 45 minutes, basting occasionally.

Serve on rice and enjoy. Let's Eat!
