This pic is from back in the day when I rocked the mountain man look. My dog, Ambrose, was the BEST! He loved to go to he mountains. We had some great days in the snow covered peaks. I would "Telemark" ski (skinny skis like cross country but with metal edges for making turns). I wasn't the best, but I could get by. You had to kneel down on on knee to turn. It is very difficult. Great exercise! I mostly loved just being in the fresh air with the deep blue sky and the silence of the back country.
