Florida License-Free Fishing Days Start April 6th

Florida is a great place to live. We get to enjoy the outdoors all year long. One of the things many of us like to do is fish. It's a great family activity, but in most cases requires a license. However, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission sets aside certain days as "License-Free Fishing Days". It's a great way to introduce young folks to the sport and to see if it's something they want to pursue. The Commission has just announced the days for this year. So pile the family in the car, get the rods and reels ready...the License-free freshwater dates are April 6th and 7th, as well as June 8th and 9th. For salt water fishing mark your calendar for the first Saturday and Sunday in June (6/1 & 6/2), as well as September 7th and the Saturday after Thanksgiving (11/30).
