Another One Of Meghan Markle's Royal Staff Members Just Quit

Another one bites the dust.

According to People, Meghan Markle will lose yet another staff member after she gives birth to her first baby with husband Prince Harry.

A source told the entertainment news site that the Duchess' trusted aide Amy Pickerill, who started her career at Kensington Palace as a press spokesperson 17 years ago, has stepped down. "They will stay in touch and Amy will remain as a personal adviser to her in the longer term. They are very close," said an insider. "It is very amicable."

Amy has been "instrumental in helping the duchess adjust to her new life in the U.K.," the source added, noting the trusted staffer, who served as Meghan's assistant private secretary since last year, has been by her side since Meghan's royal transition began. "They have worked together for a while now and are close," said the insider.

According to reports, Amy is planning to "move overseas."

Amy's departure marks the third close staff member Meghan's lost in just a matter of months.

In November, another one of the former actress' personal assistants, Melissa Touabti, quit. A month later, Samantha Cohen, also a close staffer of Meghan's — she was her private secretary/chief of staff — announced her resignation. Like Amy, Samantha is also staying on until Meghan gives birth.

As previously reported, Meghan and Harry are expecting their first child together in late April. While they have yet to confirm the baby's sex, it's been reported that they're having a little boy.
