Sally's Recipe Of The Week: Rum Balls

Rum Balls

Makes about 40

Valentine's Day is almost here. These yummy little rum balls make a great gift and there is no baking!

2 1/2 cups crushed vanilla wafers

1 cup crushed pecans

1/4 cup rum

1 cup powered sugar

3 TBS coco powder

3 TBS honey

2 TBS water

extra powdered sugar and coco powder to rolll the balls around in

Crush up the wafers in a food processor.

It should be ground up pretty well.

Then grind up the pecans in the processor.

Add the powdered sugar and coco to the pecans and wafers.

Mix it all together well.

In a separate bowl or in my case measuring cup,mix together the rum, honey and water.

Put some coco powder in one bowl and some powdered sugar in another.

Combine the liquid with the cookie mixture.

It should look like this. Start rolling the cookie mixture into 1 inch balls.

Then place in bowls and roll them around in either the powdered sugar or coco powder. I did half in one half in the other

You can store in an airtight container. Let's Eat!
