Cape Cod Sea Turtles Released By Loggerhead Marinelife Center

Cape Code is a bit cold these days. So, according to our friends at CBS12, some turtles from that area were transported to Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach for treatment after being "cold-stunned" and were just released this week. One has to wonder if they are rooting for the Patriots this weekend? According to the article:

"The turtles are cold-blooded and rely on the environment to control their body temperatures. However, the cold surf in Cape Cod messes with their metabolism. They become cold-stunned and have a hard time moving. The turtles were brought to South Florida for treatment. And now, 13 of them are back in the ocean open."
