10 Local Schools Get Major Makeovers

I guess a penny CAN go a long way.  Thanks to the penny tax some of the extra money raised will be going to fund changes at local schools in time for back to school on Monday.  Here's a look at some of the changes.

At Cypress Trails Elementary, there are so many changes, officials say students and teachers might feel like they are walking into a new school with upgraded floors and bathrooms in addition to more security measures to protect students.  The changes are in schools all over the district...from West Palm to Boca to Wellington.  Some projects are still in the works and will take until next summer to complete.

Teachers are already back in the schools, and students start classes next Monday (August 13th).

Congratulations The School District of Palm Beach County! This takes a team effort and it shows! #yayA #Lovewhereyouwork https://www.facebook.com/252942991478369/posts/1590777337694921/
