Launch Complex 17 is no more. As demolitions go, this was pretty spectacular. Launch towers are built to withstand the forces of a rocket launch, so bringing them down is no easy task. These guys make it look easy. I've toured Kennedy Space Center, but have never actually been to the Cape for a launch. Even when I lived in Orlando for a time, we never made it. Taking the BeeLine Expressway (SR 528) is like driving in a parking lot, and it's really the only way to get there.
