Ed Sheeran Get Slapped With $100 Million Lawsuit

The singer of the hit song "Perfect" isn't so perfect when it comes to writing original songs, at least that's the claim of a plagiarism lawsuit filed in 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York against the pop singer. The suit alleges that Sheeran's song "Thinking of You" is too similar (melody, rhythms, harmonies and more), to Marvin Gaye's 1973 classic "Let's Get It On". The suit was filed by copyright owner 'Structured Asset Sales'.

Two years ago, Sheeran was sued for $20 million for his song Photograph. That suit claimed the song was copied from 2010 X-Factor winner Matt Cardle's song "Amazing". They settled for an undisclosed amount.
