A helicopter crash lands one person in the hospital in Loxahatchee.
The pilot was about 30 feet up when he lost control of the one-seater and the chopper crashed onto West Lancanshire Road in the Royal Ascot Estates Sunday afternoon. That pilot, whose name has not been released, reportedly had about 80 hours of experience when the crash occurred.
Injuries are not believed to be life threatening. High winds may have been at least partially to blame, according to deputies.
