How do you feel about this Mary Poppins Sequel?

Disney has announced that Christmas 2018 they will be releasing a film called "Mary Poppins Returns". This will be a sequel to the original film, "Mary Poppins" (1964).

"Mary Poppins Returns" is said to be about the next generation of the Banks family. The children will be grown and raising families of their own. Mary Poppins alongside her friend, Jack, will then come back and teach those children similar to how they did in the original film. Mary Poppins will be played by Emily Blunt and Jack will be played by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Disney released this photo of the new cast to give us a sneak peek:

However, what I'm still trying to figure out is if it is the next generation of children, why does it look like it's still set in 1910? Other than a few color improvements, that picture Disney released could fit perfectly in the original film. I'm really worried Disney may have dropped the ball with this film. Guess we'll have to wait and see this Christmas.

What do you think? Are you excited for the sequel or do you think Disney should have let this classic film stay classic?
