President Trump will not be coming to Palm Beach Friday, according to the White House.
The president cancelled plans to travel here as a government shutdown looms. But, the town of Palm Beach has already closed roads near Maralago and officials reportedly won't reopen them until there is confirmation that Trump won't visit on Saturday.
The president was scheduled to arrive at Palm Beach International Friday evening for a weekend visit, which includes a fundraiser Saturday for his 2020 re-election campaign.
There is also a protest march to Maralago planned for Saturday, the one-year anniversary of Trump's inauguration. Organizers say the march will go on as planned.
