Amazon has announced its top 20 finalists for the company's second headquarters and South Florida has made the cut.
The Miami metro, which includes the West Palm Beach area, is on this list of 20 communities, including Atlanta, Georgia, Austin and Dallas,Texas, Washington D.C. and Raleigh, North Carolina.
Amazon received proposals from 238 communities across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. In fact, Toronto also made the top 20.
An Amazon spokesperson says that in the coming months, the company will work with each of the locations to dive deeper into their proposals. They expect to make a decision later this year.
