The deadline for Floridians to file for Hurricane Irma assistance with FEMA is coming up this week.
That deadline is Friday, and the folks at FEMA tell us that while the Boynton Beach Disaster Recovery Center will not be open on Thursday, the agency will still be answering the phones on Thanksgiving. The number is 1-800-621-3362.
FEMA representatives and those from the Small Business Administration are still at the Carolyn Sims Center. That's the only Palm Beach County location open.
