You have to be very careful when you're making rules for these kids to follow when they really want something, because your child might be smart like this kid and he's going to look for a loophole.
A dad told his son that he can pick a toy from the toy aisle if he can pick the toy up with one hand. When the kid picks up a very large box, the dad feels pretty confident that he won't have to shell out the money for that huge toy. But then the kid figures it out and he does indeed manage to hold that box with one hand. We love a good problem solver!
