Maybe this guy got a bit too creative with this marriage proposal, because his girlfriend had to keep asking him if he was serious or not. Isn't the point of a marriage proposal to make sure that the person being proposed to realizes they're being asked the question? Like, you probably shouldn't make it seem like a joke or else you end up like this guy who has to wade through several questions of disbelief before he finally gets an answer.
Lucky for him he does get a yes...eventually.
