Finland hosted the first ever Heavy Metal Knitting Championship over the weekend. Competitors knit and thrash around on stage in front of a metal band, and the crowd picks a winner, which this year involved two sumo wrestlers. In the video we watched, they knitted to Iron Maiden, Slayer, and Metallica.
