They described him as a team McDill's friendly gator "preparing for take off"! A front end loader was brought in to remove him. Looks to me like he is enjoying the warm concrete of the runway. His legs are out and he is lying directly on the surface. Probably feels good for a cold blooded reptile! It's not the first time a large Gator has been found wandering on the base. You might remember the Gator that was seen on a base golf course last August (scroll down to see that video). They named the giant gator "Elvis". He apparently wanders between several ponds on the base and is rarely seen.
