Tropical Depression ONE was upgraded to Tropical Storm Arthur in the 11am update on Tuesday morning from the National Hurricane Center.

Arthur is moving toward the northwest at 2 MPH with maximum sustained winds at 40 MPH.  The NHC is forecasting this general motion to continue through the night and they say on Wednesday it should turn north.

A Tropical Storm Watch is still in effect for the east coast of Florida from Fort Pierce to Flagler Beach.

Locally, bands of showers and thunderstorms will start sweeping though our area as the storm moves towards the east coast of Florida.  The highest chances of rain will come this afternoon.
