The Stuart Seafood Festival takes over beautiful Memorial Park in Stuart this weekend.

You'll find an array of seafood, including shrimp, oysters and fish, from some of the area's best restaurants and caterers.  There will also be food for the "land lubbers" in the form of burgers, hot dogs, etc.

Event organizer Lainey Ruskay tells us that in addition to the seafood, you'll enjoy several bands on stage throughout the weekend, including Eagles and Dave Matthews tribute bands.

If you attended the Jupiter Seafood Festival, back in 2012, these are the same bands that performed there.

Nautical vendors will sell jewelry, art and gift items, and there will be plenty of activities for your kids including rides, games and arts & crafts.

The Stuart Seafood Festival benefits the Rivers Coalition, which has been working to get the state to help with the St. Lucie River, which has been suffering due to last Summer's Lake Okeechobee's releases.
