50 critically ill children are bonding with each other in Orlando as they thrill to a dream come true vacation courtesy of the Ohr Meir Foundation, founded 20 years ago by a couple whose son died of leukemia. Spokesman Steven Friedman says parents are left at home-- children make friends with other children going through the same thing. The children visited Sea World Sunday, Disney's Magic Kingdom today, Islands of Adventure theme park Tuesday and the trip wraps up Wednesday with a visit to Universal Studios. Parents are left behind and Friedman says children encourage each other and forge lasting friendships with other children going through the same ordeal. A state-of-the-art mobile infirmary will follow the children from Sea World to the Magic Kingdom to Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. The trip even includes a Toys R Us shopping spree.
