It was a slow weekend at the movies, but Hap Erstein with gives us his reviews of the newest movies.  Just don't expect them to be blockbusters.

"Gimme Shelter" - Hap is impressed with the performance of Vanessa Hudgens ("High School Musical") as a 16-year old pregnant girl who finds her birth-father and has a drugged out prostitute as a mother.  Brendan Fraser and James Earl Jones also star in this film.

"The Invisible Woman" - The story of the mistress of author Charles Dickens.  Dickens is played by Ralph Fiennes.

"I, Frankenstein" - Aaron Eckhart stars in this film from the makers of "Underworld".  Keep in mind, the critics were not invited to view this movie, which usually means it's not such a great movie.

"Zig Zag Kid" - Part of the Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival, which wraps up on Sunday.
