If you have children, an event is going on in Boca Raton this weekend that you may want to check out.

It's the first annual Safe Kids Day, from the non-profit agency Safe Kids Palm Beach County.  We spoke with the group's Program Director, Kelly Powell, who tells us more about the event.

She says it will showcase "everything that we do, so being safe in and around, in and around water, just in your community basically."
