As more toys make their way to the big screen as motion pictures, often having little to do with the toy itself (See: "Battleship" and the first "G.I. Joe" film), one of them now has a sequel out.  "Twilight" fans will probably enjoy the new movie from another book series written by Stephenie Meyer.  Hap Erstein with reviews some of the latest movies. 

"G.I. Joe: Retaliation" - Bruce Willis appears to play "G.I. Joe" in this sequel to the first film which brought the Hasbro toys to the big screen. 


"The Host" - From the writer of the "Twilight" series of books, made into movies, starring Saorise Ronan. 

"On The Road" - From Jack Kerouac's pseudo-autobiography, based on his trips across America, with fiction woven in.  Viigo Mortensen stars, along with Kirsten Dunst, Kristin Stewart and Garret Hedlund ("Tron Legacy" & "Country Strong").

"Tyler Perry's Temptation" - A woman has an affair on her husband, that looks (from the preview) to turn into a nearly fatal attraction.  Vanessa Williams and Kim Kardashian are among those appearing in this movie from the guy who made the name "Madea" famous.

"56 Up"-  Continuing a project he began in 1964, filmmaker Michael Apted revisits his original subjects and sees how their lives are progressing now that they are 56 years old.
