The Solar Eclipse is coming on August 21st.  Okay, so we may not be in the "Path of totality", (sounds a little scary anyway, doesn't it?)...but here's a great video showing where it will be crossing the country.  

I remember a few partial eclipses in my time.  They always seemed to be in the Summer and in Maine where we used to vacation.  My grandmother would take an old shoe box and make a pin hole...holding it up to the Sun, so that the light came through the pinhole and you could see the eclipse safely on the other side of the box, which acted as a sort of screen.  I must admit that method was a real disappointment!  Now we have special disposable glasses that even kids can use.  Still, be careful when you look, especially since we are not in the path of totality.  Watch the video below to see where you CAN see the full eclipse.
