More Local Help For Irma Victims In The Keys

Florida Begins Long Recovery After Hurricane Irma Plows Through State

More help from our area is headed to the Keys in the wake of Hurricane Irma.

Boynton Beach Mayor Steven Grant partnered with the United Way and the Boynton Beach Art District to deliver supplies to victims.  The mayor picked up items collected by both organizations Sunday and he'll be driving the donations to the Keys.

Martin County Commissioner Harold Jenkins and Stuart Mayor Troy McDonald have already delivered donated supplies from residents there to residents of the Keys.

Those supplies included a truck load of plywood and water.

A number of organizations took part in "Operation Keys to Recovery."
